With more than 30 years of international leadership experience, Daniel Fasnacht combines strategic foresight with strong execution capabilities. He has held senior roles for many years, including CEO and Managing Director in management consulting (SAP, Accenture) as well as in private banking and asset management (Credit Suisse, Julius Baer and others). Extended stays in the UK, the United States, Latin America, and Turkey have shaped his global perspective.

He is a Senior Lecturer and Director Executive Education and a Fellow at the Department of Finance, Swiss Fintech Innovation Labat the University of Zurich. In addition, he serves as Co-Head of the Risk Management Initiative RiskON and lectures at the Rochester Bern, Zhejiang International Business School in China and is senior researcher at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland. A long-standing expert for the Swiss Innovation Agency, he has been an accredited Innosuisse mentor for startups and SME's.
Daniel is also actively involved in various industry and economic organizations, including as Advisory Board Member of Digital Winterthur, reviewer for academic journals such as the California Management Review and member of networks such as the Asia Society; Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce; Arbeitgeberverband Zürich; Swiss Board Forum; KMU & Innovation; Zürcher Handelskammer; FDP Zollikon; the Economic Commission of the Zurich Cantonal Parliament (WAK), and Dialogue Platform for the Zurich financial center.
Originally studied information management, he holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Nottingham, (UK) and an MBA in Business Engineering from the University of St. Gallen/Haas School of Business, University of Berkeley (USA).
